Started walk 6:30 a.m.

Overcast, warm and and a light rain.

By the island, a fish jumped out of the water and briefly became entangled in the lili pads.

A very tall flower is now blossoming in the prairie and I can not yet identify it. Maybe, when I can see more of the blossom (specifically its colors) I'll have better luck. Likewise with a tall, spindly purple flower.
