Started walk 4:45 p.m.

It was a nice sunny afternoon but there were clouds rolling in. There were many people out and about as is now expected for a warm sunny Sunday afternoon. I had to ask some people if I could could barge in and take my photo of the island. I received some odd looks.

Violets are in blume almost everywhere. I photograhed some that were on the eastern edge of the prairie where it buts next to the woods. Also, there are numerous yellow finches darting in and out of dry, dead prairie grass. however, unlike the violets, the yellow finches refuse to stop for their portrait.

Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Good but I couldn't find my Nissan Thermos -- Styrofoam. Sugar Cane Cigar.
