Started walk 6:35 a.m.

It was warm and sunny with scattered clouds. Chance was in a mood to pull and irritated me immensely with his darting and jerking.

Two big geese were swimming in the prairie retaining pond and, by my return trip, they had taken shelter from the wind on the small island in the center of the pond. A few ducks were swimming in front of the other island. That is, the island that I photograph.

The trails were very wet and muddy this morning. Coffee -- Very Good. Muffin -- Hot Oatmeal/Blackberry.
