Started walk 6:30 a.m.

It was warm and sunny with scattered clouds. I wore a light windbreaker and no hat or gloves.

I saw a bright red cardinal perched high in a tree singing it's heart out. There we also small birds with striped heads battling in the bushes.

The scent of flowering shrubs were very strong this morning. Coffee -- Passable.
