Started walk 6:25 a.m.

Today is Good Friday and the weather suited its billing. It was a beautiful sunny morning although it was still rather cold. I could have used gloves to keep my hands warm.

Chance has been barking a lot in the mornings when I get my coffee so I've taken to tying him to a crab apple tree that's away from the coffee shop's windows. As long as he cannot see me he does not bark.

There were plenty of birds to be seen. Also, you could clearly see a small detached bog of reeds that has floated to the front left of the island. It was there yesterday but it was difficult to distinguish because of the rain.
