Fourteenth day of Spring!

The weather was cool yet mild and the sky was overcast.

Unfortunately, the first muskrat that I see this season is a dead muskrat that was killed while crossing the road.

The water is starting to recede around the island where I saw several large fish flipping in the water. Also, I could hear geese on the big lake and saw two of them swimming by an opening that divides the big lake from the back water..

The small black ducks still hanging out near the island. A rather tight knit yet skittish group of waterfowl.

The Dr. Suess duck was perched alone on the stone wall of the steps going down to the duck pond. No other ducks were in the pond or to be sighted on land. He/She? did not flee when Chance and I approached.

Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Good. Hot Blackberry Muffin. Don Kiko cigar.
