Madison, WI
Started walk 3:25 p.m.
The temperature was hovering around 30o and the sky was overcast. The snow is all gone but the weatherman
says that our March Blizzard is coming. What else would one expect. It's almost Spring -- It's time for Winter!
It was a lazy afternoon walk and I happened to noticed the hawk in a tree at the eastern edge of the prairie. However,
unlike my past visits with this feathered predator, my presence was not to be tolerated this particular afternoon.
The hawk must have been forewarned of the pending snow and wanted to "stock-up" on "mice vittles" before the snow
made the pickings more difficult. I could see that the hawk was active and searching as Chance and I approached.
It took one look at us and decided to be on its way. Gotta eat!
Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Good.
