Started walk 6:35 a.m.

Warm/Overcast. I started the walk late this morning. I was tired of being sick.

All of the lakes were offically declared open today. It has been a very warm February and very overcast. Personally, it depressed me. I would have preferred colder days with more sunshine. I even like the snow.

There was not a lot of activity this morning. Everyone seemed to be in slow motion.

Again, there were few birds to be seen but I did hear sea gulls on the big lake. Maybe they were celebrating the abundance of food now that the lake was clear of ice.

Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Good. Muffin -- Oatmeal/Blackberry -- hot -- good.
