Started walk 6:15 a.m.

Today, NOT overcast. There was an expectant sunrise with clear skies and a few morning stars on the horizon. There is no longer any ice on the inlet even around the rims. Likewise, there is no snow on the ground anywhere to be seen. There probably wasn't any snow or ice yesterday or the day before, but I didn't notice. I'm starting to feel better and I'm enjoying the walk a little more than the last few days.

Again, no song birds, ducks or geese around the island or boardwalk. There were, however, a few black crows making themselves heard in the tree tops.
