Madison, WI
Started walk at 6:30 a.m.
I woke up with a headache this morning and walked outside to a hazy overcast sky. I was in a double haze so to speak.
It was colder this morning than yesterday. The small branches, twigs and dead leaves of the trees, shrubs and prairie grass were coated with a white frost. It was quite beautiful.
We came upon the wet footprints of a racoon on the bare, frosted wood of the boardwalk. The racoon probably washed its breakfast in the nearby stream.
Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Good. Muffin today -- Raisin Something -- Dry, tasteless junk.
