Started walk at 7:30 a.m.

During this morning's walk it was sunny for a brief sliver of a moment when the sun was sandwiched between the horizon and the low cloud cover. The sidewalks were still unshoveled and road traffic was light. It was the 'Day After' and most people were still in bed even at this late hour.

Chance was pulling hard on today's walk. It was like he knew the day's fortune would include a cranberry muffin.

Coffee was good -- Costa Rican. Cranberry muffin -- chocked full of berries -- good.

With the exception of Chance's sniffing and snorting, the return walk was silent with few birds making themselves known.
