Started walk 6:00 a.m.

Partially cloudy and continued hot and humid.

It rained last night so I chose to avoid the trails in favor of asphalt and concrete.

Phlox is in bloom. Whereas it looks similar to the Dames Rocket that bloomed in the spring, Phlox has 5 petals versus the 4 petals of the Dames Rocket's blossoms. Spotted Joe-Pye Weed and Queen Annes Lace (some beginning to form into the distinctive bird's nest shape).
