Started walk 6:25 a.m.

Sunny and mild. The dew was heavy on the grass and shrubs soaking my pants as I walk along the trail.

The buds on the flower that I believe is Butterfly weed is starting to blossom. Hopefully I will be able to confirm the identification.

Chance and I came across a turtle's nest that was ransacked by and animal. The nest was dug out and all of the eggs were eatten. I counted at least fifteen eggs. It must have been a feast for whatever animal discovered the cache.
