Started walk 7:35 p.m.

I didn't walk on Saturday and didn't walk on Sunday until late evening. it turned out to be a very pleasant time to be out on the trails. It was cool, no bugs and the sun was setting on my left as the moon was rising on my right.

I heard drumming from the big lake as I approached the coffee house. There were fisherman in a small boat near island.



I photographed the last large patch of phlox in the wood between the prairie and the Oak Savanna.
