Sunny and cool. Lily pads are already choking the waters around the island. The water in small coves is getting stagnant.

I'm overwhelmed by the quantity Woodland Phlox this year.

The cattail reeds are about two feet tall along the boardwalk. The Bridal Veil is in full glory with few of the shrubs able to maintain their posture with the weight of their numerous blossoms.
