Walk
Madison, WI
Started walk 6:45 a.m.
There was a cold drizzle this morning and the temperature was falling towards the freeze zone. No umbrella was needed
but it was cold enough that I had wished I had worn a hat.
I saw a crane or heron in the marshes to the west of the duck pond. There was not a lot of light but I'm confident
it was not a goose or a large duck. It appeared to be gray and its silhouette was very distinctive.
The mole holes that cross the paths are somewhat dangerous. I've stepped in a few and almost tripped. It's easy to imagine how horses broke their
legs in the ground hog holes that covered the prairie.
The Halti continues to be a great solution. Chance is a dream walking with this device.
