Eighth day of Spring!

Warm with a slight overcast. The sun was trying to break through the haze.

I saw Chip N' Dale playing by some dead trees near the stream. I also saw a lone duck in the prairie's retaining pond. This duck had bold black and white markings and did not appear to be as large as a mallard.

Chance was very thirsty this morning and took a long drink in the stream that empties near the island.

Blue Bell-like flowers and daffodils were opening up near the duck pond. These flowers are exposed to a lot of morning sun and get the added heat of the sun reflecting off of the stone wall where they are growing. Today is my oldest woman child's sevententh birthday. I had a Don Kiko cigar

Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Excellent. However, I was without cash and played the role of Wimpy. That is, I would gladly have a cup a java today if I can pay for it tomorrow.
