The Sixty-Sixth Day of The Walk

Started walk 6:25 a.m.

It's official, this Winter has been the mildest since the 1895. Yesterday's snow didn't survive long into the day but there was a new dusting of snow this morning. In fact, it was still snowing lightly during our walk. So, the overcast for the morning was snowcast.

One of Chance's playmates came over to visit him as we stood outside the coffee shop. The playmate is a lab mix named Kaluha who stands about a hand taller than Chance. Kaluha was in possession of a large stick and it was important for him to show it to Chance. Chance was very impressed.

About the same time that Chance was admiring Kaluha's stick, a runner that I know ran by with her Golden Retriever named Woody.

Two geese flew high overhead but that was about it. No crows were out hasseling other birds this morning.

Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Good. Muffin -- Oatmeal/Blackberry -- Hot.
