The Forty-Sixth Day of The
Walk
Madison, WI
Started walk at 6:30 a.m.
It's still February. We got the colder weather but without the prerequisite tradeoff. That is, mild goes with clouds and cold comes with sunshine.
There was no sunshine this morning and the temperature was in the teen's. No fair!
Chance is into taking large chunks of bark from the base of a dead tree. I know for a fact that a woodchuck lives (or did live) under the tree trunk next to
where the dead bark is piled. I wonder if Chance can smell the woodchuck on the bark? No doubt that may be the bark's attraction. Chance searches it out with zealous vigor.
It was a pleasant walk with nothing interesting or unusual to comment on. Clouds. Cold. Darkness. That's it. It's February -- for 23 more days.
Coffee -- Breakfast Blend -- Acceptable -- Not hot enough. Muffin today -- Cranberry -- Poor.
