Started walk at 6:10 a.m.

It was dark and overcast. A light mist was falling but did not continue for the whole walk.

Today I smoked a hand made Don Kiko from the Dominican Republic. A nice slow burn with a mild taste. It helped take the chill out of the air.

No ducks. No birds. No runners. No bikers. Too early? We were pretty much alone this morning.

Our weight continued to dislodge large chunks of packed snow from the top of the wooden boardwalk. It made walking very uneven and Chance slipped a few times when his paws traveled with the moving flow.

Coffee -- Costa Rican -- Excellent. Muffin today -- Cranberry -- Excellent. Chance also got his own day-old danish -- cream cheese I think -- he loved it.
