The Sixteenth Day of The Walk
IslandMadison, WI

Started walk at 6:20 a.m.

Chance and I walked in a foggy haze. Almost all of November and December's snow is gone now. I could hear geese honking on the big lake. It appears that they don't want to leave our fair city.

I expected the paths to be muddier after yesterday's rain but they were still pretty solid and easy to walk on.

Snow is predicted later in the week as temperatures are expected to start dropping into the 20's and teens.

I saw a few crows flying in the fog but the smaller birds had yet to start their day.

Four ducks were navigating around logs floating in front of the island .

The coffee was good -- Costa Rican. Cranberry muffin -- not good.
