Started walk at 7:30 a.m.

Like yesterday, today was a beautiful day. What a way to start out the new year. Before I left on my walk, I took the chocolate cherry bread, that was prepared the night before, out of the refrigerator so it could be at room temperature for one hour. Then, I snatched some blue plastic bags, walked outside and lit a large Dominican cigar.


The crows were out in numbers but there were also a lot of Cardinals around the duck pond. Bright red birds darting in and out of the red-twig dogwood. Chance wanted to catch one really bad.

Coffee good -- Muffin OK -- enough cranberries but there was a spongy texture.
