The Salvation Army of Dane County depends on its familiar Christmas Kettle campaign to raise a substantial portion of its annual operating budget. These vital donations support the community in many ways: providing food and shelter for homeless families; helping individuals find permanent employment and housing; running a variety of after-school programs for children; and brightening the holidays for less fortunate families here in Dane County. And, in the current economic climate, these needs are only increasing. That's why it's critical for us to fill as many bell ringing shifts as possible.

By participating in the Adopt-a-Kettle program your group can help ensure a successful fundraising season and make sure that The Salvation Army can continue its critical work. Your company or organization can "adopt" a Red Kettle for a day and staff it with volunteers for two hour shifts. You can also choose to staff several kettles (maybe in the same neighborhood) on a given day for a specific period of time. The program is flexible so we can find an option that best meets your needs.
