Fredric A. DeVillers is the Director of Development for the RHS Companies, Inc.
As Director of Development, Mr. DeVillers is responsible for the activities associated with acquisition, development, site & engineering design,
architectural design, construction, land sales and leasing. For RHS, properties developed or acquired include, commercial retail space, multi-unit residential, condominium hotel resorts as well as large
tract mixed-use lands. He manages the site assemblage, permitting and approval process, the development of proformas, financial statements and solicitation documents
for project financing, the conceptual estimating and budgeting, as well as the design efforts of architects,
engineers and project consultants. Mr. DeVillers also provides construction project management oversight including cost estimation,
bidding, construction contracts, schedules, on-site quality control and financial budget oversight.
Prior to joining RHS Companies, Inc. Mr. DeVillers was the Director of Development and Property Management
for Madison-based Stevens Construction Corporation. Stevens Construction is a general contracting and construction management group that constructs commercial office space, retail malls and large box retailers, multi-unit residential low-rise
and mid-rise condos and apartments, franchised hotels and indoor water park resorts, elderly housing and nursing homes, parking structures, schools and churches. His duties and involvement included consultation with clients during project planning and consultant selection,
assisting clients with site approval, permitting and property transfer, guiding clients through the design development phase of a project's development process, coordinating conceptual estimating and budgeting, as well as complete turnkey development of client projects.
Between May 1997 to October 2001, Mr. DeVillers worked for The Great Lakes Companies, Inc. (GLC) as a project manager for the development, design and construction group.
While at Great Lakes, Mr. DeVillers was involved in acquisition, development, construction, management and leasing. Properties developed or acquired included commercial office space,
retail malls, multi-unit residential, franchised hotels and indoor water park resorts as well as large tract mixed-use land developments.
Mr. DeVillers has also held Project Management and Project Engineering positions with CGC, Inc., Woodward-Clyde Consultants and EWI Engineering Associates, Inc.
