Designed by renowned Architect's Rick Robbins and Brian Lussier of Robbins and Associates, International and managed by Troon Golf LLC, Horseshoe Bay Golf Club opened for play on July 4, 2000. Horseshoe Bay Farms Golf Club will become a private club at the beginning of the 2004 season; making it the only private club on the Door Peninsula. All residential condominium owners of The Legends are granted a Social Membership with no intiation fee or deposit. Likewise, residents pay substantially reduced initiation fees and yearly dues for either a Gold or Silver golf membership. Residents also have use of the Member's Clubhouse and get discounts on purchases of logo merchandise from the Golf Shop.
